More often than we'd prefer, many external surfaces will gradually become covered in algae, moss and mould which leave them looking less than presentable. Luckily, by using Lakeland's Anti-Algae solution, you can enjoy up to nine months of protection without any re-growth. This solution should also be used to prepare external surfaces before applying masonry paint.

The best part about our anti-algae solution is that it is free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and solvents, so not only is it safe for the environment - but it is completely safe to use around children thanks to the lack of fumes produced. This treatment does not require any scrubbing, and once the organic flora is dead, it should erode away naturally from weathering over a period of days.

“I get the wind off the sea and the textured sea facing wall was covered with moss. The painter applied this a week before painting, and I’m very pleased with the results. A couple of coats of Lakeland’s white exterior masonry paint, and the coverage is perfect. I won’t use anything else. Where it dripped down the walls, It cleaned the paving stones at the bottom so well too, that I’m going to get more to do all the pavers around the bungalow. It’s so easy, no elbow grease, just apply it when there’s dry weather for a couple of days.”
